Cream Magazine (Hong Kong) was kind enough to ask GHAVA to contribute to their 5th Anniversary Issue. Several components were submitted consisting of representational objects, artwork for a two page spread (featured above), a hand drawn letter, and an interview. These items were part of an art exhibit accompanying the issue. Introspective contemplation on themes of illusion, reality, and perception were at the heart of this piece.
From the Publisher: “The 5th anniversary of Cream provided a good reason to get in touch with 50 artists and designers with who they have previously collaborated in order to understand them on a more personal and intimate level. The aim? To provoke readers to re-examine their attitude towards human communications in an age of computers and internet. Participants include: Droog Design, Fabrica, Katherine Street, Chicks on Speed, Mika Ninagawa, BLESS and Will Sweeney.”
